This is an inductive proximity sensor with an M18x1 threaded brass housing, designed for flush mounting where space is restricted. It detects targets within an 8 mm sensing range and provides an NPN normally open output, switching at up to 1300 Hz, over a 10...30 VDC supply. Housed to IP68 with a 3 m PVC cable connection, it is suited to automation applications operating across a wide ambient temperature range, from -40°C to 85°C.
