Operation

When an overload occurs, the motor current rises above the set rated current, heating the integrated bimetal element and causing the device to trip through thermal-magnetic operation. For short-circuit conditions, the electromagnetic release provides instantaneous protection at 21 A. The rotary operating mechanism allows manual on/off operation with clear position indication and trip status display. The integrated transverse auxiliary switches provide 1 NO + 1 NC contacts for status feedback and control circuit integration. The spring-type terminals enable tool-free installation and maintenance, reducing installation time. The built-in test function enables verification of overload release operation without electrical load. After tripping, the device must be manually reset by moving the rotary switch to OFF position before reclosing.
