This hinged actuator is designed for use with Euchner safety position switches on doors that open along a curved path, supporting installation on both left and right hand hinged doors with a minimum door radius of 100 mm. It accommodates overtravel of up to 7 mm, allowing for variation in door movement while maintaining engagement with the switch. Constructed from stainless steel for both actuator and screw, it is suited to industrial guarding applications on machine and panel enclosures.

Description

Hinged actuators

For door radii less than 300 mm a hinged actuator should be used. The spring action movement of the actuator prevents damage due to the actuator jamming in the actuator head. Depending on the movement of the guard, the actuator must be selected for left/right or top/bottom.

Screws made of stainless steel

The safety screws included can be inserted with a normal tool, but cannot be removed again.
