This is a solenoid-actuated safety switch from the NM02 series, fitted with a lever arm actuating variant for guarding applications. It is designed for mounting on machine guards and interlocking systems, where it monitors the position of a movable guard and signals the control system accordingly. Typical use is on doors, hatches or covers on industrial machinery where guard position must be verified before hazardous motion is permitted.
