The SINAMICS CU230P-2 DP Control Unit is the specialist for pump, fan and compressor applications, together with the modular SINAMICS G120 and/or SINAMICS G120P inverter. The CU230P-2 Control Unit is part of the modular SINAMICS G120 inverter (comprising power unit, control unit, operator panel), and is specifically designed for drives with integrated technology functions required in building technology and the process industry.

The CU230P-2 Control Unit controls and monitors the power unit (Power Module) and the connected motor; several control modes can be selected. It allows communication to a local or central control system as well as to monitoring equipment, and is used to connect all process-relevant auxiliary units and external components, such as sensors, valves, contactors, etc. The I/O interface, the fieldbus interfaces and the additional software functions optimally support applications in building technology and the process industry.
