The SIMATIC S7-1200 Battery Board BB 1297 - 6ES7297-0AX30-0XA0 from Siemens is used for the long-term backup of the real-time clock and is simply plugged into the CPU's signal board slot. A suitable battery (CR1025) is not included in the scope of supply and must be ordered separately. The Battery Board can be used from version FW3.0 and later.
