Applications & Benefits

The SIRIUS 3RH29 auxiliary switches are engineered for expanding auxiliary contacts in control circuits. These auxiliary switches can be laterally mounted onto 3RT2 contactors without tools regardless of their size, providing flexibility and ease of installation.

The 3RH29 auxiliary switch blocks are available as versions for front or lateral mounting, with up to four instantaneous contacts or up to two leading NO and NC contacts. The auxiliary switches can be designed as positively driven contacts in 3RH contactor relays or also as mirror contacts in the case of 3RT power contactors.

Key Benefits:

  • Tool-free lateral mounting capability
  • Compact design for space-efficient installation
  • Standard-compliant terminal designations
  • Climate-resistant construction
  • High contact reliability
  • Worldwide approval compliance (e.g., IEC and UL/CSA)

Installation & Compatibility

The auxiliary switch block can easily be snapped onto the side of compatible contactors. The auxiliary switch block has a centrally positioned release lever for disassembly. This model is compatible with:

  • 3RT2 contactors (all sizes)
  • 3RH2 contactor relays
  • Size S0 contactors (3RT2023 through 3RT2028)
  • Size S2 contactors (3RT2035 through 3RT2038)

Only one 3RH2921-1DA20 auxiliary can be installed per contactor, but additional two and four pole front mounted auxiliaries are also available for expanded functionality.
