The Cognex In-Sight 2000 is a colour vision sensor with an S-mount 8mm lens, housed in a painted aluminium IP65-rated enclosure for use in industrial environments. It supports a range of industrial communication protocols, including EtherNet/IP, PROFINET Class B, Modbus TCP and OPC UA, allowing integration with PLCs and factory networks. Illumination options include a diffuse white LED ring light along with red, blue and IR LED rings, lens filters and a polarised light cover, suiting varied inspection and part-detection tasks. It operates from a 24 VDC supply, drawing up to 2.0 A (48 W) when illumination is active, within an ambient temperature range of 0°C to 40°C.
