The In-Sight 2000-230 is a monochrome vision sensor from Cognex fitted with a 6.2mm liquid lens, used for inspection and part-verification tasks on automation lines. It incorporates white, blue and IR LED lighting along with band-pass, polarizing and polarized light cover options, allowing the illumination to be matched to different surface and contrast conditions. Communication is supported through a broad set of industrial protocols, including EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP and OPC UA, alongside digital trigger and I/O connections, making it suitable for integration into networked machine vision systems. It operates from a 24 VDC supply or Class 1 PoE and is rated for use in ambient temperatures from 0°C to 40°C.
