xThis RJ45 terminator is fitted at the end of an RS485 line to properly terminate Modbus communication runs. It plugs directly into a spare RJ45 port on the last device in the network segment. It is typically used in control panels and automation networks where Modbus RTU communication is deployed over RS485 wiring.
